The days ahead promises to be bigger and better for Net4Things (N4T). The company recently launched Connected Car, an IoT solutions enabler for, you guessed it right, the connected vehicles ecosystem. As an early adopter of the solution, Telefónica Movistar, envisages to leverage Connected Car and roll out a powerful direct marketing tool to carry out personalized campaigns and proximity marketing.

The new business ecosystem of IoT that Connected Car spurs is entirely scalable and open, and can house functionalities based on vehicle data, Wi-Fi on board, engine info, routes, driving behaviour, and selection of hours of use or towing; offering all the peace of mind and elevated user experience. The possibilities are limitless.

This revolutionary launch not only minimizes CHURN and maximizes ARPU, but it also promotes the birth of new business models and revenues. The company’s module helps clients in building accurate and direct advertisement campaigns to a targeted audience. “Most of the companies are developing just technology for connected cars while they don’t have the vision of the business behind the car data. It’s just here where N4T makes the difference, being a unique company: we have a 360 degree view of our customer needs, we were born around data, and we know how to create innovative business models monetizing car data through a partners’ ecosystem in which each player wins,” mentions Joaquín García-Baquero, the CEO of N4T.

N4T has developed an end-to-end solution for service providers: from the customized application for customers, through the N4T Devices, to the back office. The company offers exclusive experiences to the end users that completely transforms the relationship between its clients and their customers., “We provide end to end solutions including customized end-user mobile apps, IoT devices— like OBD dongles for connected cars— and a powerful backend platform for data analysis, visualization, AI and hypersegmentation,” states García-Baquero. A leading B2B software company in the connected car business, the company has created a disruptive and reliable B2B business model which helps telco, insurance, car finance, automotive and utility companies to open new revenue streams from direct and indirect incomes. In their seven years of operation, N4T has evolved to be a business partner that enable companies to implement this new business model by adapting it to their specific situation.

What differentiates N4T is their pursuit of constant innovation and evolution. The company’s connected car solution is naturally evolving towards the new trends in telco like 5G and e-SIM. Further, they are also working on adding the latest technologies on big data like streaming analytics, edge computing and blockchain to the ecosystem. “Through our innovation and with the combination of our own offices and a powerful global ecosystem of marketers of the N4T solution, we are tackling projects in Europe, the Middle East, Latin America and some parts of Africa,” mentions García- Baquero. In addition, N4T is also including new business lines in its IoT portfolio. This includes applications such as trackers of minimum size and weight, with GPS to locate everyone and everything and whose battery lasts up to 45 days working without the need for a load.

Having established its value-bound stance in the connected car segment today, the company is now back working on new ideas on smart home and e-health where there is an expectation of significant growth in the coming years.
